Hi Guys

Can someone tell me what thread the the ball joint nuts are? not talking about the 7/16" UNF that holds it to the top arm, but the one that you shim to get the ball joint correct.

Ta for any help!

Fyi: there are now maintenance free ball joints for the classic mini, from a Japanese mini specialist. Bit pricey but never needing to shim and service is a huge plus.

If the threads are damaged on the hub you will need to replace it as it`s not fun when the hub assembly and everything bolted to it rips off halfway around a corner.

They are easy to cross thread and never use an impact gun to tighten them as that`s the easiest way to wreck the hub.

5 answers and only one is actually addressing the question  :D

(I don’t know the answer, but 70-80 lbft is the answer to a vaguely related question  :D  :D )
