You could just take it to an engineering company and ask their advise.

The cylinders ‘looks’ make me want to inspect further. I would not be fitting in his without further examination.

If nothing else you know that you have the standard sized pistons in there so plenty of scope for an overbore if you need it!

To be honest, it is not really worth 'b*******g about' with it. By the time you have had the bores measured and then honed, bought new rings and re-fitted it with new bottom end bearings, etc, you might as well get a set of pistons and have it properly rebored to the next size up. Thay way you know it will be good and with a refurbished head/valves/valve guides it will be as a new engine.
In the past I have seen too many people try to 'save' old engines by not re-boring, using other old parts and then having to do another full build a few months later. I have been guilty of that many years ago and learned the hard way.

Once Iv finished building the engine stand I’ll get it stripped down and taken to the machine shop for them to assess what the best course of action is.
If there had been less corrosion towards the top of each cylinder I may have tidied up the head and thrown her in, but it’s definitely a false economy.

Looking through your photos, no 2 ways about it, it needs a rebore !
