Does anyone have a pic or a diagram for removing the 36-1 tooth, its a standard MED Management solution with their standard crank position sensor set up. I'm pretty sure I have it right but a confirmation pic or diag showing the relation to the crank woodruff keyway would be much appreciated, thanks TP

It's one where you have to remove the tooth?
Read the docs for ignition management...
I suspect it means the the ignition will assume top dead centre when the missing tooth has gone 90 degrees past the crank position censor.
If I'm right, get the engine to TDC on 1 & 4 cylinders & use a square, or projector to find the tooth, the right angle from the centre of your sensor, for extraction.
There use to be a very clear description on the Autosportlabs site for megajolt

thanks guys appreciate your input, ive been faffing about with it for ages it will be running on an Omex 600 minus the distributor longer term plan is multi fuel injection.
I am fairly confident I have it worked out was just looking to see if anyone had a pic of the MED setup as a reference as it could be expensive if its wrong
Thanks again

The Polestar Systems ecu can be changed to trigger from any point on the wheel, I'm sure most ecu's are the same?

Won't this then put the pulley out of balance?

They come balanced on the pulley. Removed mine and took a tooth out. Later was having a rebuild and had it checked and it was as good as needed.
but I agree it does but not much. And I don’t know why they don’t do one with missing tooth for their standard set up balanced . Or do an not balanced set so they can be balanced after tooth removal with the rest of the assy.
