hay people

im dan , from essex , stumbled on the site while brouseing on random stuff on the net

my project for the past 3 years named 'lil b****rd' is a 1988 mini city e (998)

i purchased it when i was 15 to be done for when i pass me driveing lessons

and now iv reaced the ripe age of 17 its nearing compleation, but as eva im finding new stuff to do/add 2 it .

not to shabby beings all work was done without a garage

pics of all the work done will be posted shortly if neones interested

next to come is a full race cage and once the insurance is done a complete engine swap

1430 crate engine from mini sport-straight cut gear box-internally mounted race gearshift assembly-webber carb ...thats the plan neway

No mate, the clubby belongs to a lad who works near where i live. Used to be my dads before i was born though and somehow ended up back in stoke! The racing green is mine, and a clubby estate, and a mini 1000, and probrably enough bits to build another. Just cant control myself

what u just put new springs on or are u adjustin the hight ? looks like ya gona do rallyin in it at that hight

The suspension had all been replaced so i adjusted the the ride height up to allow for the springs settling, otherwise id have been messin with the hi los all the time to stop the wheels catching. Sits a bit lower now, i will be lowering it further once i have stopped the tyres from rubbing the arches. At the moment its on minilites, because they are narrower an so do not rub, just until i have the time to sort out the arches.
