Hi, newbie here!

I'm looking for a high quality retro mini to be built. I've seen Huddersfield mini do a "kit" with a few options that can be customised and built on a freshly painted shell. Has anyone used these before? Any feedback on parts, quality, paintwork and anything else would be really helpful,

Thanks

Huddersfield dont have a good reputation for after sales care.

You say 'to be built' you want it building for you?

Thanks for the response. I'm keen on a mk1 cooper lookalike. Ideally I'd buy one, but they seem rare, hms had a kit version for sale. If nothing was for sale I'd consider getting something professionally converted

Buy a decent mini, then either convert it to mk1 looksalike yourself or pay someone. Its not a big job.
