I decided to have a go at an idea I had over the weekend. It wasn’t 100% successful as it’s the first time I’ve tried it, the 2 parts of my mould decided to stick together (should have used baby oil). And the black sealant decided it wasn’t playing ball and I had to scoop it out with a screwdriver to try and fill the already damaged mould as best i could (had to slice it in two just to get my original wheel cap back). I’ll leave it a while to see if the idea will work, but as a 2 hour experiment.

And I dare anyone to try doing this with an original wheel cap, and expect it to still be in one piece.
