Does anyone know where to get the ends for making a piece of pipe to connect to a fuel filter? It’s a 1999 MPI but the connections have been modified by previous owner.

Looking to fit M14 x1.5 heads onto a new piece of pipe to make it fit with Bosch filters.

I used to manufacture the said pipe when we were in the UK with the correct fittings as they were NLA

I think there is a couple of places where you may be able to get some unions, one is called Clarik Engineering Supplies in Scotland

Albeit you do get the fittings, the pipe will have to be flared to avoid any leaks, and then the pipe shaped

I was going to but would mean replacing the whole lot as both ends have been changed previously.

They are a bit tricky, there is a union on one end of the original filters that sell at a silly price, 30 quid if I remember !!

The other is not so bad and needs a flare

It has to be correct - you need it spot on.  Any small drip or seepage leads to MOT failure

They are a one off line,   and when Rover went bump did not help matters.
