Hi, In need of some help! My mini is sweating power! The car sprung a leak during winter hibernation. I am no sure where it comes from and what parts to get from minispares.
I am hoping is the selector oil seal. Thoughts on this?

Somewhere higher up.

get some UV leak tracer added to your oil. And then you will know where the leak is rather than guesssing.

All of the above  :D

Was this without running the engine? That'd suggest bits that are lower than the dipstick level. Clean it up & you can wedge 'n wrap bits of kitchen paper to bear witness. Raising a side can counter the oil confusing you by tracking a lower point under a different seal.

I can sympathise with this as I currently have leaks that need detecting on my running car. What's everyone's opinion on the best way to clean the engine, without removing it, ready to trace leaks?

It is very hard to get the A series fully oil tight. Might be worth checking the bolls that hold the output shaft casings are all tight, I had it recently where the exhaust vibration (via the gear box bracket) had caused a couple of them to start to come loose and was causing a leak.
