Were the clubman bulkhead the same as saloon/van/pickups of the same era? Know about year variants, twin / single bolt etc but would a clubman full bulkhead section fit in a saloon etc?

Is that correct? Clubman had fresh air vents long before they were fitted to round nose variants.
... which are located at the top of the inner wings.

... and the Elf/Hornet had them long before the Clubman which had them at the same time as the rest of the ADO20 range

The bulkheads are all dimensionally the same.
The Clubman crossmember and triangular panels are different.

I don't think the above is quite correct, mini pickups in the 1970's had a hole in the bulkead for the heater intake like a MK1 so were different to the normal saloons and clubmans of the same era.

The vents came in at the same time for Clubman and Mk3 roundnose Minis but the eyeball vents were fitted as standard on the Clubman/1275GT and the holes in the bulkhead/inner wings were fitted with metal blanking plates on the roundnose Mk3's. I believe they may have been an option on them at the time or like me I just bought the eyeball vents/pipes from a breakers and fitted them myself after removing the blanking plates.

But as said the Mk3 on Minis all had black metal blanking plates screwed over the eyeball vent holes in the bulkhead which could be removed to fit them.
