I'm returning to the Mini scene after 20+ years!

Usual thing - learn to drive, buy Mini, learn how to mend it (again and again), loads of fun, get married have kids, sell Mini as too small and can't afford to keep it anyway, and then sigh everytime Mini drives past

Well 22 years on - take a computer for repair and next door is a car sales plot, in the middle I can just spy a Mini roof - turns out to be a Sidewalk one owner 14K only etc etc :alien:

2 hours later return home with guess what - yup you guessed it - Mini time again :D

Since then bought another (Cooper) - unbeknown to me the missus regretted selling the old Mini too!

Had many in the past - different types - usually cheap because something was wrong with it - remember arriving home in a 1976 'R' reg 850 with a 'noise' (as described by the seller) from the idler gear - the idler gear had destroyed the bearing and was running in the casing - imagine running your fingernails down a blackboard and magnifying it 20 times gives you some idea!

Anyways hi every one - its good to be back! :)
