Hi all,
I have the standard plastic wheel arches that only just cover Orginal minilites 12 x 4.5j et 35 with 165 60 r12 tyres.
I have some other wheels which are 12x5j et? (De tomaso specials) and they stick out about 5–6mm as this is not allowed in Austria so the question is which wheel arches would cover the new wheels but just and nicely? I would like them in black plastic preferably using the same holes as the originals

Thanks Jason

There's a handy thread on the forum with loads of different arches listed to suit various wheel widths and offsets, probably worth a look: https://www.theminif...ches-directory/

When I was considering different arches on my own car I emailed a couple of different suppliers to ask if their arches aligned with the existing holes for the standard plastic ones, and they said that I'd probably have to drill new holes. You might have better luck finding a particular style/design that means you won't have to do any extra drilling, but either way even if you do have to put in some new holes, the old ones should still be covered up. (Going a bit off topic but in the end I decided on no arches whatsoever for a "classic" look  :D)

Out of interest have you got a photo of your 12x5s fitted under your standard plastic arches?
