Hi Everyone,

For the replacement of the rear suspension cones on my SPI I had to move the fuel tank which meant that I had a good look on it (the first time :shy: ).

This brought up two questions.

1) What is this thread supposed to hold?

2) How does the protector for the fuel lines gets fixed to the tank (wasn't installed on the car when I got it)?

Thank you very much for your help.

Somerford have pretty good diagrams for this sort of stuff:

The protector is jst held on by plastic fasteners.

I cant tell the exact location of the other bolt.

Hi Everyone,

It seems that I'm missing the fuel cut off valve WLV10007 and the 2-way valve WLV10009 here. Both are NLA so I wonder what these valves actually do / are intended for so that I can think of alternatives.

Thank you very much for your thoughts on this matter.

Second hand replacements are the only solution. One is to prevent fuel loss on car turnover from memory.

Any luck with finding this part WLV10007 made from 'unobtanium' ?

Hi govig,

I have been able to source a complete tank wich came with one of the valves that are missing on mine. It seems that the second one was added later on. Unfortunately I haven't been able to even have a good look on the parts since arrival. I will update as soon as I have investigated further.
