I've just bought some 10" rose petals and Yokohama A032R tyres and they are currently 4 expensive paper weights as they won't fit over my 7.5" disc AP brake callipers

 

The wheels came with spacers and they didn't solve the problem

 

Can anyone suggest what callipers will work

What’s hitting, the weights? You might have to move the weights inwards if it is. They should fit over 7.5 callipers.

This, they should fit right over without any issues. Are you sure you have 7.5” and not 8.4”??

Where did you buy them?  The MiniSpares ones should fit fine, the JBW ones may not.

Mine only fit with the front spacers. The wheels rub on the metal around the bleed nipple of the brake calipers.
I have the minispares rosepetals and 7.5 cooper s brakes.

I had to reposition the balance weights to the inside of the wheels close to the spokes.

Hi All, thank you for the help and advice, just to answer a few of the questions I bought the wheels from Swiftune although they had MiniSpares tape on the box just because MiniSpares didn't have any and yes they are def 7.5 cooper s brakes.

 

With some better light and and a bit of renewed vigour this afternoon I tried again and typically the wheel I had picked up originally had 4 weights and it was only these that were catching on the calliper, I thought the back of the bleed nipple was rubbing on the inside edge of the wheel but thankfully it wasn't. I fitted one of the other wheels that only had one small weight and this was just rubbing so with  a bit of time and a file I have smoothed the calliper off so it doesn't catch the weight at all. 

 

However, I'll take all the wheels back to the tyre place and get them to relocate the weights

The problem has been caused by the switch from Lead to Zinc balance weights. You now often have to use multiple smaller weights on the inside rim instead of a single weight as the new weights are that much 'bulkier'.

Remove the weights and get some dynabeads. Especially with the big 10" tires you ll like them.

Out of interest, what amount of dynabeads did you use for 10" tyres? Had a quick look on their website but couldn't find any guidance for wheels this small!

2 ounces should be enough. Even one ounce might be enough but I'd rather use a bit more than too little.
