Ok, no shouting here...It just seems that tyre choices and wheel sizes seem to generate heated differences of opinion on this forum and I really want some nice advice. I know that for handling in the wet and on the track 13 ins are perhaps not the choice of everyone, and perhaps 12 inch wheels are better however I have 13 inch wheels, CRX Compomotive, and they really are a pretty wheel to look at so I am going to keep em. So I would just like a few recommendations for good all year round road use tyre. So many people out there will say Yoko's A539, are good and as many will say they are rubbish in the wet, however they are too expensive for me and so I am looking for any other recommendations.
Falken have been mentioned to me as a good all rounder but I seem to struggle finding local suppliers, and Nankang seem to keep cropping up but I can't find any reasonable reviews on them.
Secondly, it has been suggested that I use 165's rather than 175's but being nowhere an expert on tyres I really can't work out why they would be better? in my head all you do by changing to a smaller size would be to screw up my speedo readings by 2 or 3%.
