Hi there, have just been wondering about how do you wrap the Rover original gear knob in leather? Does the bit where it has the gear pattern can be opened or do you just glued the leather around it?

I think it’s a specialist process as the leather has to be stretched / shaped and glued in place around the contours as you go

Thank you for the answer... I was wondering whether it was a 2-piece part or not, but I guess not, and it is the specialist's technique to make them fit.
