I have a problem with my MPI failing the emissions test, here's a list of things I've changed:
Air Filter
Spark Plugs
Air Temp Sensor
Water Temp Sensor
Lambda Sensor
Exhaust Downpipe
MAP Sensor
Standard Exhaust GEX33519
Cat Converter
Oil

Oil Filter
The car runs like a dream, acceleration, starting is perfect, the idle does seem a bit "lumpy". At 3000 rpm the HC value does go below 1000 but at 900 rpm idle the HC is 306 (it was 990 before I started changing parts) CO is 0.40% and CO2 is at 3.6 (should be over 10).

Anyone with a similar problem (and solution!!)?

The only thing you didn`t change is the IACV.

Clean or change it!

If you have not done so already suggest you run a good fuel system cleaner fuel additive through the tank. This has worked for me on a couple of occasions on another car (initially after failing emissions) and my MPI just sailed through the MOT after being off the road for 5 years after doing same.

Also, ensure your exhaust is absolutely sound and sealed. Any leakage can skew the O2 reading and subsequent fueling.
