E10 Petrol Becoming Standard In Uk

I just heard that E10 petrol (10% ethanol) is becoming the norm in the UK. As I understand it, the risk is that the ethanol may destroy rubber fuel pipes and seals.

 

There's a set of Gov web sites on it including a compatibility checker, though Rover being bust is not listed.

It is interesting that Land Rovers are cleared for use for post 1996 vehicles.

Does anyone have any insight into using E10 for SPI's & MPI's? - or fuel line markings which identify it as E10 friendly?

Loads of posts on this topic. Just use 98 or higher octane fuel as that is staying E5 for now.
