Sounds more likely that either the door frame window rubber needs replacing, or the rubber strips at the bottom.

In all positions, or only when down, etc?
Sounds more likely that either the door frame window rubber needs replacing, or the rubber strips at the bottom.
When the window is mid way down is more noticeable, 1/3 down is also very wobbly.
.. the lower it gets the less wobble.

I just tried shaking the windows at all positions, they seem really tight, what I did notice was that the mirrors dont sit flush on the doors, the regular plastic mirros with plastic base from rover.
If those mirrors dont sit flush on the doors, and they shake while crusisn, could that be generating enough leverage to shake the whole door skin and translating to the glass shake?
I removed the mirrors and they dont sit flush because of a whoop on the door, exactly where the mirrors attach, as if at some point someone bumped the mirrors and bent slightly the metal of the door where meets the base of the mirror. I guess ill visit the body shop to have a look.

My windows rattled a bit too but nothing too annoying. ... worth checking that the door window frame welds are intact and not fractured .My situation was made much better by fitting new door frame rubbers and a little inward persuasion on the top of the window frame a couple of months later once the new rubber had bedded in made the fit a bit tighter and stopped the issue - makes the window channel a touch out of true hence holding the glass that tiny bit tighter
The mirrors hardly ever sit flush as standard - generally worse when a new skin has been put on the door, or when it has that no-one put rivnuts in

Usually the channel runners though.. 40 bucks in parts and postage should cover it...
Find a haynes manual.. EVERYTHING is covered....

Hi people,
I troubleshooted the issue.
I replaced the nutserts that held the mirrors in place. One side wasn't tight at all. Fresh nutserts and now the mirrors are rock solid. After doing so I still had vibration on the windows. I decided to bring the car for balancing, and yes, the front wheels where very shaky. Balancing and new tires solved the issue. It was a mix of things, but specially balancing.
thanks everyone!
