What’s the solution?

I need the ability to get coffee for the wife and I, and can’t hold 2 cups while driving. Help.

I put a din mount style in mine but there were a few issues.
The hole I wanted to fill was a perfect size for the previous din mount radio but too big for the so called din cup holder, and a 600ml water bottle is to fat to fit. Holds a takeaway coffee cup fine tho'.

I’m in the US, so CA is good. I’ve looked at theirs before.

I like that. Where is it from? Can it fit around an auto shifter?

I made this simple cup holder out of some ABS plastic from the scrap pile. It's bolted to the outside seat bracket.

Not sure. Think I found a link on this site somewhere. There is also a similar one with an ebay cupholder that finds around the gaiter for about 11 quid.
Look up SUV cupholder I think

I have a set of these in my spi.  Slight problem, and I'm guessing true of the Steveston ones too is that on the twin post seats they don;t stick out far enough, the seat foam protrudes over the top of them so they can't be used.  Simple enough to sort, just need to fabricate a smaller extension piece so they stick out more.
