Could someone advice me on the best way to fit the Exhaust System, like what else should i buy to help keep the car safe and stable.and were should i jack the car up from etc.

Plus, should i buy some sort of sealer stuff when i fix the pipes together.
Be greatfull if someone could advice me on this pretty please :) the jack is all that i have.

you want some exhaust putty for putting it all together. I used exhaust assembly paste by ... .. ermm... ... can't remember.

As for jacking if you can try to get to a lift. be the best way of doing it. Althought when I did El Gordo I ended up driving her up a small wall we have to lift one side so i could wiggle my large self ender her.

Aye, your locval motrofactors will sell exhaust sealing putty, put a healthy smear on the joining surfaces and then a smear round the outside of the join too.

Chances are you'll have to replace the manifold gasket too as they don't like being disturbed at all. if you have to , a lght smear of grease on the gasket will help it seal and the burn off.

Some drive on ramps for the front wheels and a trolley jack and axle stands for the rear should get it high enough safely.
Also frees up the jack to take the weight of the exhaust while removing or fitting so you have two hands free.

as low as possable. Most axel stands allow for upward adjustment.

just make sure their low.

it will act as a silencer quite a big one in fact. i got the same set up on my n/a now i am selling my turbo engine and bloody hell its loud. the turbo was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo quiet compared, although it does have a nice quiet purr to it.

T

edit

i did mine ar the weekend, axel stands on the front and fitted all with them there, with a jack on the rear from time. once i had the Y peice fitted and the link pipe lined up, put the axel stand to the rear. and put back box on. course the turbo gets in the way a lot here such a ~@*& to fit.

all in all a tough job as my mini is low but got it done

T again

you should be able to fit it with 2 axle stands and a jack, saying that my back box is very light as its a carbon tech one so not sure if you need much more arm strength, but not minding being close to the floor and a helpful friend works wonders :D
