Hi I am currently building a 998 engine . The spec will be +0.60 pistons flat top , evolution 1 cam from mini spares , 12g295 head , 33 inlet 27 exhaust valves . Would a Weber 40 dcoe be ok on this ?
Thanks

I’ve had a 40mm on a 998 & 1098 and it runs great. If you start with the spec in Vizards book it’ll get you running.

There’s a very good book by Des Hammil (How to Build & Power Tune Weber & Dellorto DCOE & DHLA Carburettors) which is very handy for tuning
