Does anyone know of a Steering Wheel Boss, to fit a Mini Steering Column, that has the holes drilled on a 3.75" PCD or around that ?

I've found 4" and 90 mm, but can't seem to find something that's even close to the 3.75" that if needed, I could redrill.

Cheers

Nippy cars sell some specialist mini bosses, but the PCD isn't listed on all of them. They might be worth a shot

I guess you could also get/make an adapter for a 4" boss to convert to the 3.75"

Odd PCB that. What is the wheel? Might make easier to find.

Cheers for that Timmy. I'll keep those options in mind. Nippy's have some lovely gear. Might be an option, though I don't see a boss in their range that is along the lines of what I was after in terms of style. I have considered an adaptor and making a Boss, but before going down that road, I thought I'd see what's out there.

Locarra. They are made in the US. Oddly, they don't have a Boss to suit a Mini.

But they do do some other BMC ones. Are the splines the same?

The only BMC Vehicle lists is a late Austin Healy Sprite - difference column diameter and splining unfortunately.

What about MG, Triumph, or one of the universal adaptors?

what was the MK1 Midget ? Is that the same as the USA spec Midget 1968/69?

Thanks for your thoughts here Nick and the link, that is a handy one for sure.

If I can't find one, I'll likely buy one in the same brand that has a smaller hole for the column and then bore & broach it to suit a Mini column, though, I don't have a broach and they are eye wateringly expensive, so I'd likely need to make the broach too.

I know I can make (or buy) an adaptor plate but it's just too much of a back yard hack for my liking.

I'll go through the Moto-lita list and that from Locarra and see if I can find something I can work from.

And there is the rub. No specs given. I would take a 4” and machine to suit.

Cheers Nick.

I had considered that early on, but there's not enough meat in all that I've looked at so far, on the ID, to leave a spigot. Granted, I could do it without, but given the choice, I'd rather retain one.

The one Boss they have in the BMC range has a 5/8" x 36 spilne, if nothing else, I could work from that. I've also found a local firm who make spline adaptors and can also re-broach steering wheels.
