Evening all.

I've seen 12 inch rostyles fitted to mini's, but I've never seen the 13 inch midget wheels fitted.

Does anyone have any photos please?

Cheers all

The ET will be incorrect and give poor handling.

I don't know a great deal about the science behind it, but most 13x6 minilites I've seen are Et15

The rostyles are narrower and have an offset of Et24(ish) which puts the inner face in a very close position to most after market 13's.

I suppose all that suggests though is, yes it will fit, but doesn't say much else

You can get them banded inside or out if required to make them fit and get the et you want

Rostyles are steel

Banding them to correct ET would be a very odd thing to try. To keep them the same width you’d need to band one side and reduce the other. And as we’re only talking a few mm it wouldn’t be that easy.

if you change the width then you’re just making more compromises.

They are steel and anything is possible but not necessarily worth the effort

To keep the width but change the offset would be basically re-rimming them. Not something I want to do.

Is the offset that off then? I used an online visual tool and it didn't look that bad

Compared to the et35 of the 10x4.5 steels, the inner face sits in the same place, and the outer is just an inch further out

Daviewonder on here has has some of the 13" Rostyle wheels banded to 13x7 and they look great. There a few photos on his build thread here: https://www.theminif...-project/page-8

I also had a set of Austin Healy Sprite steel wheels banded to 13x7 which I still have in the shed. Any competent wheel bander can alter offsets by removing the centers from the hoops and rewelding them in the desired position. I would recommend Banded Wheels Essex as he has been doing this for decades, and did a lovely job on mine.

Thanks Chris. Shame there's no pictures of them fitted. Yeah I've only heard good things about Banded Wheels Essex.
I'm unsure as of yet.
I'm buying some 10 inch wheels from someone here, but the real appeal of the 13 inch rostyles is that they're almost disposably cheap
