kph to a mph clock

Bonjour again. lol
I have kph clocks. instead of taking the whole clocks out, could i just change the kph dial to a mph dial ?
Or is it alot diffrent ? thanks :w00t:

i had this as my minis german.

ive changed them over to mph now but it still reads out, althogh it hasnt read correctly since i had my new engine fitted several years ago! but i know that if im doing what the dials say in kph, im doing slightly less than that in mph - try working that out at night!

i've converted kph dials to mph by scanning the existing dial in, doing some math and adding marks & text on the scan for mph, then printing it out and sticking it over the top! No calibration issues at all then! and you can add some fancy bits! :w00t:

I dunno if the gearing is different inside the speedo from a UK mph/kph unit, but if not then there are a few faces about. HERE is a thread about custom dials, but i'm also sure that places like minispares, minisport, and a few others sell "plain" ones. have a searchy, and you'll find it.....
