I've done a search and found lots of posts concerning squeaks but none of them seem to match mine!

* No squeaks for first 5 mins or so of driving

* Squeaks then start when slowing down, noisier when braking

* Eventually squeaks are continuous (can be heard by pedestrians!)

 

The squeaks have been present since I bought the car a year ago.  Since then I've changed: 

 

* Brakes: front brake calipers/disks/pads, brake limiter valve.

* Suspension: front bump stops, lower arm bushes/pins, tie bar bushes.

 

I've also greased all grease points.

 

The car is driving great but this squeak is getting me down

Any ideas on what to check next?  Unfortunately I can't recreate the squeak unless the car is moving.

maybe subframe or engine mounts could be your next try? 

 

I changed mine this summer and it has definitely stiffened things up...

The persistent squeak I had turned out to be a split in the LCB just in front of the clamp to the main pipe. It was most of the way round the pipe but still wasn't blowing that much - just the annoying squeak.

Squeak or screech?  Can you recreate it by pulling over and leaning on the front/rear wings of the car, or by grabbing the car and giving it a damn good wobble?

 

Obviously a video would help but appreciate it might be fiddly.

Check the Ball Joints. While they can be greased, the grease doesn't always go where it's needed, you could split the top joints from the arms, remove the rubber and roll the joints around to get some idea if it these. Also, when greasing any part of the car, jack it up to get the weight off the parts you are greasing.

 

Another common one is a knuckle joint cup that's worn through.

Looks like it is probably the NS lower ball joint  - squirted some WD40 inside and it was silent for a good few miles.

Yep - doing my head in, considering how much I've already replaced on the car!  Hopefully the ball joints will be the last bits ... for now!

In the very last part of that sound clip - that inner sanctum door creaking sound - it does very much sound like ball or knuckle joint.

I have found with many ball joint assemblies, pumping grease in via the nipple is sorta fine at say oil change time, but the grease just doesn't seem to get everywhere it needs to. These need to be stripped down every now and a again, cleaned and grease the parts as it's being re-assembled. I use Moly Grease and do mine about every 10 000 km (6000 mile), though for normal road use, I'd say you could double that.

Ball joints replaced - creaking sound is almost gone now. I think I'm hyper-sensitive to any noises now!
