This MINI is also quite interesting....
Like the classic Mini there have been quite a few engine transplants carried out to R50/R53 MINI's by enthusiasts and conversions to turbo, etc. Z-Cars did at least one R53 MINI-Honda vtec engine transplant and the link below shows in some detail fitting a Honda K24 into a 2006 R53 MINI Cooper S:-

Knowing how much power the Honda K series engines can make with a turbo on it that would make for a mental fwd Bini.
500 bhp with a eBay turbo and hondata ecu would make that a very quick car. And the potential for so much more as well.
