Hello!

I have this repair kit for repair/replace the front shoe adjusters.

Anybody knows what's the correct installation order of the parts ?

I would have thought that the thin washer goes after the stepped washer to keep everything tight but cant be sure.

I would be interested to see how good these are after the problems i had earlier in the year getting decent replacement backplates including 2 sets advertised as genuine which although now fitted and working im still not confident in.

To be honest I installed them as in the order according to the picture. Now the car is almost finished and the adjusters are a little bit loose. I am not sure if I assembled correct.

The order on the picture left to right : adjuster - thin plain washer - stepped washer (fits tight on the adjuster's ribs) - spring washer ! - locking nut.

The stepped washer fits into the hol on the backplate, where the old adjuster was.
