Possibly:

Primary gear shim to set/correct endfloat

Crank sprocket shims to set/correct timing gear alignment

Replace timing chain?

Replace timing chain tensioner pad (if fitted)

Timing cover oil seal

Usual service items (oil, filters, plugs, points (if fitted) etc.

Fan belt

Idler gear shims too or multiple transfer case gaskets in different thicknesses.

Consider Arp rod bolts if your standard original ones are suspect, also consider maincap bolts, was about £20 recently for me from MED.

It would also be wise to have the whole spinning assembly balanced.

Thanks Guys

looks like i have my list together now.

are there any particular bearing manufactures to stick to \ Avoid don't want to be doing this again particularly soon.

I have decided to use the whole lot as a teaching experience for the kids (8) and (6) and might even try and get them to make their own Youtube video series of what we learn and how we go about doing things.

if nothing else it will keep them interested and teach them some life skills and the importance of following instruction.
