To dream the impossible dream... Looking for a set of hen's teeth, otherwise known as GKN Silverstone rims. They were used in the 1980s Leyland Challenge as the official rim for the Mini 1275GT. I know because I raced (or rather hit things) in that series.
Rebuilding a 1275 GT as a race replica, - although perhaps not with a 13:1 compression head or even the Weber 45DCOE - and it would be nice to have a set of these, although I know they are super rare.
If anyone knows of the whereabouts of a set of these little devils, I would be sickeningly grateful and might even offer a finder's fee (don't get too excited!). I know there is a very similar rim made by Compomotive, but the originals would be best.
