Anyone got any advice for removing the rear bulkhead? Mine needs changing. Thanks

Brace and then drill out the spot welds.

Brace and then drill out the spot welds.

 

This plus depending on the age of the car there will be the rear seat belt anchor points which are not spot welded.

If it is truly in need of replacement I would use a saw to cut it away as close as possible to its seams and then attack the rest with drills and suitable chisels.Bracing is a given,Steve..

I fitted a brace across doors and cross braced to each side when removing floor and didn’t do any additional bracing when removing rear bulkhead, I measured everything and it didn’t move.
