None. Just get the correct boss for the year of your  Mini to suit the wheel you want.

struggling here as according to some guys I have spoken to about this........MG, Morris, metro wheels all will fit directly?   I don't wont  to buy a boss and then fit an aftermarket wheel, i just really wanted to know what standard steering wheels from other cars fitted directly to a mini.

Ok then yes the spline patten of many BL cars of a year were the same over the range. BUT even though they could fit some will catch on the cowl or will not turn the indicators off.

thanks...reason I asked was that I have just got an old Morris 1000 banjo steering wheel, and as the bakelite rim is knackered I am going to fettle it a bit and put the centre and splines onto an old 80's mini or metro steering rim as they are made of metal and I can fabricate it to fit as a 1 off.got the idea off a guy at stanford as he refabricated a Mk2 wheel to a smaller size.
