Just wondering if anybody has used mini spares own brand oil on their classic mini? Is it any good? it seems a much better price than its competitors but how good is it? Do people use it? http://www.minispare...c/GUL7005T.aspx

I know a couple of people who rally classic Mini`s and they rate Mini Spares oil and filters.

 

Apparently, it includes zinc which is a big plus for Mini`s.

I use it in both our Minis. Good price with an oil filter.

I use it in my mini and 1968 MG. Good value.

I accidently put it in my Rover Cooper that normally only has Valvoline VR1 and 1500 or so very hard miles later with very high revs all is well with the engine and gearbox.

 

I will be putting VR1 back in when it`s back out again next year though for piece of mind as it`s the best in my opinion.

Probably fine for a daily driver. Wonder what oil is actually in there under their own label. Would love to see a TDS of this one.
