Got a standard 1989 mini 30 998 that I have been told I need a new carb. What type should I be looking for and what are the chances of finding one that can be boltes straight on without a rebuild?

You could send it to AC Dodd, he offers a total rebuild service for SU carbs ( presuming you have one already)

That engine should have a HS4 carb.
