Hi, looking to renew suspension on my 92 city can anyone recommend any hilo kits.
I'm thinking of going with mini spares red cones on the front and standard cones on the rear both with hilos. Shocks will be KYB gas-a-just all round as I bought a set a while back but haven't got around to putting them on.

Personally I would fit standard rubbers. And the MiniSpares HiLo kit.

What has brought you to the decision to fit red cones?Hi, looking to renew suspension on my 92 city can anyone recommend any hilo kits.

FYI, I bought the MiniSport Adjusta Rides only to find out that they have a custom knuckle joint that only fits the Mini Sport Adjusta Ride unit...
So their knuckle is not a replacement for the standard part as theirs has a thicker shaft.
And vice versa, you wouldn't want to use a "standard" knuckle with the Adjusta Ride kit because the hole in the Adjusta Ride trumpets and rear bars is too big and too loose.
I don't dislike the Adjusta Ride kit, but I would have preferred to know this before I purchased it, as I might have gone with the MiniSpares HiLo as recommended above instead so that I wasn't "locked into" one supplier.
The MiniSpares HiLo is also touted as being the "only RAC homologated set available" if that is important to you.
Regarding the choice of red spots, have you considered (or has anyone here actually used?) the relatively new "Evolution" cones?

Funny enough I was reading about the various hilo kits made the other day, apparently the genuine kit sold by Minispares gives a better ride due to them having the correct shape where the cone sits thus allowing the cone to work properly.
