Have some sill stands that i would like to put on my car, its currently being fully rebuilt, everything new from the windows down. just wondering how other people might have put these on there minis so that i don't have to have a huge box section in the car, is going to be stripped out with a 6 point cage.  show me what you've done/ got. will be helpful.

What do you mean by sill stands?

 

if you mean track stands like Owens and others produce. They have a tube that is welded to the inner and outer sills that the stands go into.

yeah this is what i mean, just want to see pictures inside the sill of the tube and plating to see how they reinforce this, and if they have to be placed anywhere specific to keep the car flat

i can only see what other than " ashleyread1 " has posted as due to a quote. so glad of the ignore user thing.

 

 

sill stands are just a tube threw the inner and outer sill with some reinforcement plates. A good friend of mine is having some fitted to his car over the next week or so, ill post you some pics.
