I fitted a HIF 1/12 (Inch & Half) carburettor to my 998cc Riley Elf with a water heated manifold and tuned as best possible but it still appears looking at the spark plugs to be running rich. My question is should I fit a different needle in the carburettor as I understand this carb may have came from a A+ Engine possibly a 1275 cc

AAU will be close enough to get it to a rolling road session
