Hi can anyone help on what setting my distributor should be set to .I brought the dizzy of Ebay new in the box but don't have the curve settings it is currently just set at number 1 but I don't think it's right.
My engine is a 1380 with a minisport ca4 camshaft.

I’ve found a CSI distributor very good for my needs especially after final tuning on a rolling road, a must in my opinion!

The Swiftune-specific CSI dizzy has different curves to the standard CSI one available elsewhere. I recently fitted one along with a replacement engine to my own car, and I was able to get this curve graph from Swiftune:

Curves 13 to 16 are best suited for 'fast road' applications as the graph suggests - I think I've got mine set to number 13 at the moment. I'm not familiar with the cam you've got but in your engine, for comparison mine is a reasonably well spec'd 1330 with an SW8 cam, not sure if that helps but hopefully the graph does.
