1979 Mini Clubman in Russet Brown.

1100cc engine with less than 34000 miles from new. It's been in our family from new and I am the third registered keeper and I have the original purchase receipt. It's always been garaged and it's been dry stored since 1997, when it was last used on the road.

This little mini clubman is in excellent clean and original condition, undersealed from new, and only has some small age related marks, there is some slight surface rust on the edge of the boot lid (pictures included), which should be very cheap and easy to address. Its a nice genuine car looking for a new home with an enthusiast who will love it and use it. It is probably a mistake to sell as they continue to increase in value and it's been in the family since new. But I just don't have the time, I'm no mechanic so have to wait for others to sort out issues which detracts from the interest of owning a classic car and I could do with the space in my garage/workshop for another project.

A new battery has been recently fitted but it requires a new fuel pump, which I have purchased but its just not been fitted yet.! I've been waiting for this to be done along with oil filter and oil change, it's a long story.!

The car doesn't currently have an MOT and will possibly require one to put it back on the road, after that it will be tax and MOT exempt. I have the new V5 (Red) and the vehicle is not SORN as it was removed from the road before there was a requirement for it to be SORN, I have confirmation documentation from DVLA.

Located in Mid Wales.

£6000

I may consider a close offer… there must be someone out there looking for a lovely original clubby…!! I’ve had some interest, but no one has crossed my palm with any money yet… must be the colour….. :shy: there is one on eBay in Russet Brown which has had a replacement engine and not in the condition that mines in, it went to well over £5k during bidding first time round and didn’t sell and is now at £7k buy it now. Perhaps I need to put mine on eBay…..

Looks really good mate, can't see why you haven't had any interest as it is priced by today's standard very reasonable. Don't see why the colour is any great influence, quite like russet. maybe stick in a few more pics of the interior of the boot and the engine bay, a well kept engine bay is always a good seller.

Good luck with the sale , you'll get your money if patient.

A few more pictures, under the bonnet and in the boot, the original sound deadening matting is still in the boot and firmly stuck in place so I didn't remove it for the pictures.
