always used bilt hamber products and these seem to perform well. But whatever you choose don't forget underneath where rear valence meets boot floor and inside wheel arch where A panel meets flitch, these are notorious and i always zinc prime and seam seal these areas on my cars

Hi all. Read this and found it hugely helpful. I have a Cooper sport mpi and it has a mixed life. Not horrendous but definitely a used car for its 63k on the clock. How would you go about the prep before painting the underneath? It isn't horrendous but definitely needs a good clean and some metal is flaking away on rear subframe but isn't horrendous. Can show pics If needed

Take it all back to bare metal, prime, raptor coating (you can add your colour to it if you want), paint, laquer.
