Hi,
I've installed a kad quickshift.
Instead of re mounting the gear lever gaiter, I'd like to keep the blue piece visible at the base of the gear lever. But to keep the floor closed I need to put a custom base plate .
Like this but in metal: https://www.somerfor...ture-rod-change

I'm desperately looking for a similar part or an example to build a custom one.
Has anyone already done that?
Thank you,

Olivier

You can’t use a tight fitting metal plate as the gear selector housing moves around with the movement of the engine - it is mounted on rubber bobbins to allow it to do so
