Hi, thanks for letting me join.  I am new to forums and not very tech savvy so please be gentle with me.

I have recently inherited a 1990 Mini Racing Green from my father and hopefully will be able to find out more about them from this forum if that's possible.

Welcome - I am not the most computer literate (being of a certain age possibly common to others on here)  - the hardest part when I started on here was posting pictures (there's are plenty of guides on here how to do that) there isn't too much more than what you've already managed by becoming a member and posting a new thread

 

Shows how far I've come, using terms like  "posting" and "thread" - when I was a kid "posting" meant you had to go to the end of the street to the post box and "thread" was for sewing

 

The one I didn't know for ages was the little red square by your username when you log in which is a notification that someone has reacted to a post by you (if you hover over it, it will tell you who/what)

(Hover - Ha! another one for computer lingo-bingo)

Thanks mini mad mark, this made me laugh, but had to get my daughter to open up the thread for me.  Yes definitely something to do with a certain age, I think
