Has anyone fitted these to their car? Was thinking of adding a couple of speakers upfront and think these would be ideal

I've had these in mine for the last ten years and I'm happy with them.

I have a set too Jimmy, happy with them and you’re welcome to have a look. Couple of comments would be if you don’t a some kind of U shaped trim, chrome or otherwise, to the top you risk cutting your fingers when winding the window. You have to be mindful not to kick your speaker grilles when getting out if you’re quite tall. Boltonbits used to sell sets with a chrome trim.

I'm also interested in fitting these door pocket speakers. What have people done about the wiring? Is it just a matter of drilling a hole in the door and flitch panel and fitting some grommets. Would this be enough to stop water ingress ?

No central locking or electric windows on mine, just the standard doors. That cable wrap certainly looks the business though. What have other people used ?

Corsa C (or other modern car) rear hatch trunking is another cheaper alternative, I do enjoy a scrapyard raid day

Thanks for the replies, looking for some suitable trunking is a good call. Then need to look for some speaker pockets and speakers ..

I used some polypropylene non split conduit 16mm od and you could screw it through from the door to the pillar as it was spiral. Been in 2years no splits and seals the holes drill 15mm holes and under £3 from eBay.

Did you have to offset the holes or have them level?

They are off level by 25mm and were done by Wood&Pickett 46 years ago but would be better at 50mm offset.
