Another nostalgic old 1960's film recently uploaded:-

“Autocross was very popular in the 1960’s with people racing their daily driver around a field with the ability of mixing it with the likes of rally champion Roger Clarke who can be seen interviewed here. Yet to be F1 driver Peter Westbury flies in. With cars such as Mini, Imp, Cortina, Anglia, Sayers Special, with spins crashes and rolled cars. I hope you enjoy a peak into this golden age of motorsport. yes the sound is dubbed but that’s what they did then ! look out for the other autocross short film "Spring into Action" and see an E-type raced on a field !!”

Hamish Racing - This is a follow up film to the Autocross Racing Green Film.
"This is a short and unfortunately incomplete film that explains a bit about how important Autocross was in the 1960’s.
And you see (briefly) the E-type racing on dirt. Together with Spins, accidents and rolls, people using their daily drivers for racing and some people were using their company cars !!"

"....some people were using their company cars !!" quote which may explain why there are several 1965 'C' Registration cars taking part which would only be a year or so old at the time...
