"The greatest car vote segment was cut out of all re-airings and streaming versions of the show, mainly due to the episodes frequently being subject to edits which removed significant amounts of footage for time-saving (eg. advert breaks) or copyright-related reasons. It was aired only once in 2003, and most of the recordings of it were lost but it's back now, and here it is. E7&8 in this video still uses old footage."

McLaren F1 (Murray Walker)
Jaguar E-Type (Chris Barrie)
Ford Mustang (Jeremy Clarkson)
London Taxi (A.A. Gill)
Land Rover (Richard Hammond)
Fiat 500 (Nick Mason)
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud (Stuart Hall)
Citroen DS (James May)
Audi Quattro (Graeme Le Saux)

Aside from the rather nasty 'personality' as mentioned above, the truth is that it's just a dull segment that doesn't age well. Hardly surprising it was dropped when trying to fit the show into a 40-45mins slot.
