Hi All - have posted this on the Scamp Owners Club Facebook page and thought I'd give it a whirl on here.
I wanted to do this before but for years I could not remember the registration number and then yesterday it just came to me completely out of the blue:
Hi there - thanks for adding me - I don't (currently) have a Scamp but do have a mini based kit car (Minus Maxi) however I am looking for info on a Scamp Mk2 Q683RBD (or to possibly purchase it if possible/reasonable/findable)
I am sure, having found the picture below, that it is the one my Dad built in 1985. Last v5 change was in 2012 so might still be around?
It was white when he built it (he remade the aluminium panels in white plasti-coated steel) and the engine was painted a dull red hammerite (not bright red like you see now) It was running Hillman Imp 12inch front wheels and had a silver vinyl top when we sold it after he died in 1986 (probably sold in 1987 as he died just before Christmas 1986). I helped him to build it but I don't remember much else about the build.
I think it was first sold to someone local to us in Northampton but I only saw it once a few weeks after it was sold and never saw it again.

I might be interested in purchasing at the right price if it belongs to anyone on here or anyone can point me towards it (and if they want to sell of course
