The yellow fan outside the radiator is damaged and needs to be replaced,

but Minispares seems to sell only RADIATOR ELECTRIC FAN ASSY.

Is there anyone who knows the compatible fans of other companies or places that sell only fans?

Just replace it with a universal fan (approx £15 GBP from Ebay. That's all I have on my 1275 late carb car (identical stock setup to yours)

We wired it to a Lucas branded extended toggle switch that sits nicely in the blanking plates on the 3 switch panel at the drivers knee, or make a small L shape bracket and screw it below the dash rail.

I'd expect that still flows adequately, unless it's noisy.

If its just the blade damage in the photo I would use it considering its not on that often.

I believe the fan on the ebay item mentioned by Ethel is identical.

 

I purchased the same part to cannibalise the motor when my own under wing fan started acting up.

 

The fan is the same and the motor even has the same part number as on my mini although the electrical connections would need to be modified.

 

In the end I managed to fix my existing fan so didn't use the replacement.

 

I think the fan just held on with a circlip.

Great price for a new motor too - Thought it unlikely even Rover would source 2 parts so similar yet different.

 

Another google suggests the Mini's will be slightly bigger, if there is a difference as the rad's marginally wider than the Metty's is tall
