Ive just watched a paul hickey video where he builds a dog box and it has raised a few questions.
Firstly, the gear kit he's using has got wider gears than a syncro kit. Is this the norm with dog sets?
I know its hard to judge from a picture but the MED dog gear sets look thinner than the KAD dog set which uses 3/4" wide gears.
Also it seems the amount of dogs varies between dog sets. Which is best? Less or more dogs?
Anyone know which set is the most favourable? KAD, MED, quaife etc

Even if the MED dog box gears aren't as wide as the KAD ones they're still wider than their syncro SC gear teeth.
