Hi folks,

I’ve discovered today after taking off my bent front arches that they are bent to hide the fact that the arches have previously been cut away to accommodate 13” wheels much to my dismay.

I’m running 10” wheels and want to put this back to standard, the cut away is across both the front of the wing and the front panel so my question is has anyone had to deal with this?

I haven’t ever seen a front arch replacement panel so I’m hoping it’s not two new wings and a new front end?!!

Many thanks in advance!

No repair panels for this i'm afraid, but if you have a shrinker / stretcher it would be possible fabricate new lips.

You will need some folded 0.9mm steel sheet to start with. BUT all of this is a lot work and if you cannot weld / fabricate then new wings would be easier. You can by new front panel corners so you could take off them what you need. It all depends on how well the wings / front panel have been cut to start with.

As mentioned above you can’t get repair sections for the wings but you can get rear quarter repair pieces which will give you the curve and should have enough meat to correct the clearancing that’s been done for 13” wheels. https://www.minispor...pair-panel.html

If you can weld car bodywork then it is an easy task to form the missing arch and weld in position. If you can't weld then it could end as a full restoration( only jesting),Steve..

Cheers folks, yes I can weld, good idea about using the rear quarter panel to get the metal to make up the front, cheers!

Those repair panels seem pricey. Shouldn't be  hard to cut a wooden former & knock over your own.
