I have a 93 1275 - I want to put a silicone hose on to replace the old rubber one - i have read about the 1275 pre 1989 kit mini spares have not fitting due to the shape but what about the 1275gt set

The GT hose is longer as the rad is mounted further away.

I thought it was longer I did think the curve looked more like the one on my car wondered of it could be cut to size being silicone - is the hose really that diffrent on the hif38 cars ?
