Imagine a world where a classic mini can't overheat, leak oil and cut out in the rain... sounds like witchcraft to me!

Well, according to the article, between 30 and 50k, depending on whether you have the car…

Here (France) a company offers the same service for around 15/20k €, albeit with +/- 60 bhp and 150 km of range, it's definitely getting in the "acceptable" price point.

My main gripe with retrofits is keeping the original interior (I've seen some with a tablet screwed into the dashboard!), and charge speed. I'm fine with low range, but being limited to 150 km per day (with 6+ hours of charge time) is a bit of a turnoff.

If I had the estimated price for the conversion to spend I would buy one of the cheaper EVs with a couple of hundred miles range and keep my Mini as it is so I can still appreciate a proper car.
